My dad suffered an A.B.I just before Christmas and it’s been incredibly difficult to deal with. Me and my younger sister are in our early 20’s and would love to be able to speak to/connect with others that have gone through a similar experience!

OK Shannon, why not start off by telling us a bit more about the nature of your dad's brain injury and what issues it's left him with. The commonest after-effects are fatigue, headaches, mobility problems, memory deficits and emotional lability.

Is your dad still hospitalised or discharged now ? Hope we hear from you again soon. Best wishes, Cat x

If you post your questions here, this community will respond from the various perspectives of survivors, family members or friends, and from caregivers.
