This is equivalent to the test the government use to assess our needs - they haven't taken head injury into account. They should know better, surely !!!

It is very distressing when we are put on the spot to explain any needs our injury has caused, especially for an assessment. It doesn’t matter how innocent the assessment is. It can make an individual feel as though they are having to prove something.
As for the DWP regarding ESA, they should be disgusted. After the experiences we have lived through we shouldn’t have to give in-depth details to obtain support. What we have been through medically and the effects it has had on our general daily life should be enough.
I completely agree that this assessment could cause anxiety and stress which then enhances pain and anxiety. Assessments can make individuals feel like they’re under scrutiny. I understand what you are saying my friend.
I wish you peace, happiness, good health and good luck.
