Hello my lovely,

Congratulations on your achievements and your positivity.

On the 14th of January I simply fell down my stairs at home. It caused a massive traumatic brain injury, broke the base and most of the right side of my skull, subarachnoid haemorrhage and three blood clots. My family were told numerous times I would die. Then to find me a care home as my disabilities would be extensive. Even my two children were told this. However my family and I have experienced our very own miracle as I don’t even look like I have had an accident.

I am so pleased for you to have done so well. People that experience, what we could consider a life changing situation need to know that there is hope. It may take time and some hard work but medical professionals are not always correct. Being a nurse I know that medical professionals always focus on the bad that could happen from a serious accident like ours. Then when they are proved wrong they withdraw future help and much needed knowledge and expectations for the future. I sincerely hope you continue on your path to success and manage to achieve everything you hope for my lovely.

I wish you peace, happiness and continued good luck for the future.

Take care,

Vikki

Many of us know exactly what you mean when you say.

Reeesult walk talk🗣 😍 The sheer joy of being able to do even one of those things.

And the exhilaration when you first notice that you are walking and talking at the same time. (Even if ,like me, you are talking to yourself).

Welcome to our family drop in any time chat, vent or whatever.
