PIP problems

My husband sustained a brain injury 30 years ago and has never returned to work. As transferring from D LA to PIPs he is suddenly cured and lost his car most benefits and his lovely smile.Won most back a year ago after a MR but now after a review all stopped.

Unfortunately is all too frequent!

Alot of people in my city seemed to be transferred from one to the other just to save money(and stop bus passes making people more isolated!),as questions are stupid! Would like to know how they determine 'very',cos i don't think i'm 'very' anything, but it's that or nothing as answewrs-is too black & white!

I hope your husband means to appeal Cuckoo. With your help and medical back up from his GP and/or neuro doctors he has every chance of the award he's entitled to. I read only the other day that the number of successful appeals is a telling sign of how the original assessments are cynically geared to failure.

Why not give the Headway helpline a call on Monday ( 0808 800 2244 - free calls/office hours) for some extra advice and support. I hope your man will awarded the benefit he deserves before too long. Good luck & best wishes, Cat x
