Support group?

Hi evreyone, does anybody know of any support groups/clubs in the Portsmouth area? I kind of need a friend that isn't my partner!

yeh youve got several headway groups in portsmouth. you need to make sure theyre not the funded ones, but the ones where you can just drop in.

you should be able to get the contact numbers by phoning headways. we had 2 lovely ladies come and visit our group in bognor.

Thanks so much. I tried phoning the one in the mount batten center which is ten pound a session, which I can't afford. Do you know where the other one in Portsmouth is?

Really Steve-surely West Sussex is out of the area?

The same way Solent Mind always put as a stipulation for their groups!

The carers one in Pompey? In evening once a month. That's ok for fiance,but not me,when dark don't go out,cos lights to much against dark. Remembered was one now,cos i sometimes get texts still.

my wife looked it up and that seems to be right, £10 a session. wouldnt hurt to go and have a look, they wont charge you for that, then you could ask if there were any free ones you could go to. good luck
