Yes, the new home s wonderful. It will be even better when certain organisations pull their collective fingers out and get some essential work completed...

But otherwise, we love it, even the kids think it's great, so I think we've pretty much cracked it!

Mum is doing reamarkably well, though I think things are different when she's home alone. Day by day...

Thank you Sue ; it'll be something of a challenge this year as I've a streaming cold and swollen fingers from a bad scalding ! But maybe Jack (Daniels) will come to the rescue...………….

Hi Cat, Ditto!! I have been lying low and avoiding others as the accompanying fatigue has been hideous. Now on the mend but still taking it slow and easy. In hindsight, lucky timing as it got me out of celebrating with noisy family, riding roughshod over my many symptoms...and its all way over the top for my poor brain to cope with. All in all, lucky timing, a real saving grace, as I'm left alone to recover. I think Christmas is and will be a painfully depressing time for those who had their bleeds around then. I escaped the wards to return home - norovirus in tow. Later to infect the entire family and be ejected from their house to my own and left to get on with it. Absolutely gruelling! Daughter flew to Sweden. Despite all that, at least I was left in peace!

Yes mine was on 11th Dec so spent Christmas & New Year in ICU (apparently my son brought me a turkey & stuffing sandwich & mince pies but I've no memory of it). I must say I was in no hurry to escape as I wasn't compass mentis 'til early January and, until my discharge in the March, the food and was excellent and it was a really peaceful ward.

Right now I'd be happy if I could shake off the hacking cough which keeps me wide eyed all through the night ! Hope we're both well on the mend before too long m'love……….
