Because wine is cheaper

So the only way I have been able to sleep is by drinking half a glass of wine, knocks me out like a light and it's cheaper and less stressful that trying to get a Dr appointment and pay the standard £8 for a prescription, I'm eating regular meals but I'm still starving and this is making me extreme weak

What on earth is going on!!

Oh no, wine ( alcohol) is addictive and you'll just need more and more to knock you out. Don't go there.. a slippery slope.

Have u tryed other relaxation methods? TM, yoga? No IT 30 mins before bed either, overstimulates brain. Or try exercise late afternoon, walk whatever. Or try herbal night tea to calm you before bed.

Good luck... know how difficult it is Anne

alcohol has a tendency to make us feel hungry.

You could try to out psych yourself?! My doctor told me to take my other tablets at the same time as the sleeping pills, to fool your brain into thinking you're taking them when you stop! Sainsburys do an acceptable alcohol free wine!!! 😉 (But half a glass....better for your body than meds i reckon!)
