ah that's a shame! I'm almost two years into my first shunt and fingers crossed it's working ok. Good luck!

Best of luck. How did you know you were having a reaction if you don't mind me asking?

My side started to get Hematoma on my right side looks like a bruise and they said it an allergic Reaction of the shunt material

Hi I have my shunt for nearly a year now and despite early success and several adjustments my stubborn hydrocephalus remains and my surgical treatment has had to stop due to the risks of bleeding now outweighing the potential benefit. Good luck and all the best! Kate 😀
