Posted other week about at BI group I go to the man who runs it insisting on me putting gloves on to hammer a nail in. Now I’m never one to be on careful side and think this is stupid, but did put gloves on just to keep him happy. He has now admitted it’s cos of the health and safety measures to prevent people trying to sue them so obviously he can’t back down on this even tho it is stupid.

Now it has gone onto us both telling each other about having gloves on much to amusement of others who go. I managed to remind him today then later on he reminded me well before I was actually going to be doing anything and a few times I nearly caught him out but he saw me watching so made a point of putting gloves on. This health and safety would drive you mad if you didn’t see funny side. I know it’s important to keep everyone safe but some of rules like got to wear gloves to hit nails in is going a bit far.

you can put gloves on but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you hit them finger nails hurt just as much!!!! ha ha ha

Exactly my comment lol which is why it’s so stupid. Now he says you need gloves to touch wood so you don’t get splinters. It’s one of them things either get annoyed or laugh it off. He normally blames his memory as reason for not putting gloves on but caught him out earlier he said he was about to put gloves on when it was obvious he’d forgotten then when I pointed out he’d forgot cos he’s got BI he laughed.
