Ive been playing music for Tony for a while now here at the hospital, and just now I told him the next song was "Living for the Love of you by the Isley brothers and guess what? He smiled not once, but twice and opened his eyes.

Is that a song with special significance for you both? X

He likes the band and I do too, but I THINK the words "living for the love of you" is significant because he does love me so much

Well he seems to recognise it so this may be a good sign. You have been doing what the song says x

I work with folks with multiple and profound Learning Disability’s. And Music therapy is often used, and seems to work.

Never been in a coma, but I do have some very confused/weak audio only memories so sounds do seem easier?

Amazing!

Much like my history with doctors stating there was no hope yet I came through.

Doctors aren’t god, they can only predict or make an educated guess and they get things wrong.

Brilliant news hope he keeps progressing
