How is the weather were you are?

So far it has tried to snow atleast 5 times in the space of a hour today, it has gotten so cold that the sea down here tried to freeze over:

Hi I’m Derek and live in Glasgow. It’s bitterly cold. Same situation it’s trying to snow but so far still clear. Fingers crossed I can visit my dad in neuro rehab at the weekend. So hurry up and snow and go away.

Yo Bex,

In ASB we have been advised that if we can't make it in, we must take it as leave or flexi or work from home. So its official, if the train doesn't run (like it needs an excuse but snow 'thinking' of being on the line is as good an excuse as any of the others National Rail have used lately), then then there is a possibility of First Bus running which is questionable, as on a bright sunny day the service is an hourly service, so I should imagine the threat of snow may make it a two hourly or less service. Working from home sounds nice but I will have to share the computer with Vanessa and the Wifi with Dylan. So although the options are nice, the reality is if I can't make it in I have to take it as leave

Ive been told to still try and come in regardless so I think I will have to get a pair of wellies to walk as it only take me 20 mins :-(

A rare sprinkling down here on the Dorset coast, gives a nice winter scene out the window, I'm checking out online food delivery shopping for he first time as I don't fancy walking on what is already a very uneven pavement + slippy stuff= nasty fall, and I really don't think I'd be able to get upright (what with my weak legs an all). But nice all the same to hear squeals of delight from children.

Hello

It's Ben, I live in a Lancashire town called Burnley and it has been snowing off and on all day. The snow is sticking to pavements, roads and rooftops. We are expected to have more snow during the night.

Yes. plenty here in Cheshire/Manchester. Woke this morning to Christmas card scene ! Alternating today between blizzard-like periods and blue skies. At the moment it's bitterly cold and white-over everywhere. Earlier had to drive home in almost zero visibility through drifting snow. 😲 x

I’m in North Wales and there is plenty of snow on the hills and mountains but nothing much by sea. I was supposed to be driving to Manchester tomorrow but not so sure I want to go now as it’s still snowing there. 😳

Here in the South East we have deep snow! Unusual for us to get so much! Everything has ground to a halt - roads, trains, schools shut etc. Looks very beautiful though. In the last 10 yrs we mostly have only got a sprinkling and its gone in an instant. But not this time! Shame there are no accessible hills nearby for my son to go tobogganing!

One of the managers here is hoping to go to Barcelona on Friday and his father-in-law has sent pictures of his garden covered in snow

Not much around London and areas really but it’s not set up to cope, around my folks place in South Wales the snow is drifting so people are loosing cars, and watching the snow pile up the side of the house, past the windows/doors etc.
