Further to the seizure I suffered and my brief hospitalisation I now have a Neurology appointment at Southmead hospital on 20 March. I'm currently on Levetiracetum and have been seizure free

Seizure update
My husband had three seizures last year. He has been put on the same drug and has been seizure free since then.
That's really good news Jan after all the 'song & dance' with Mike's EEG results ! Hope you're doing ok m'love and seeing the sunshine we're having here today. (laid up with slipped disc though so have to appreciate it through the window 😡). xx
Hope your soon on the mend Cat💕 How did you come to do that? X
Oh, thanks for asking Tilly ! I was carrying large plant-pots around from front garden to back (terraced house) and knew whilst I was doing it that there might be consequences. Couldn't use the wheelbarrow as neighbour's car was blocking access. 😩 ..............should've waited I know !
Hope you're doing ok m'dear..... xx
Oh gosh so easy done!!!! Bit of R&R for you!
I’m ok really.. sad here at the moment as my Father in law passed away a few days ago but at the grand old age of 89! Still sad though. I’m just waiting to see vascular man on the 15/3 then who know what op date will be. I said Ive read so much about this coiling procedure I could do it myself in our bedroom... my friend said she’s good with a needle and cotton.. my husband was in the ambulance service and nothing phases him.. my other friend was a nurse 30 years ago and said she’ll wear her nurses outfit if she can find it.. and I know I should go to ICU for a bit after but it’s very quiet where we live so should be ok!!!!🤗🤣
What a coincidence ; my mum-in-law (ex actually but very close) died on New Year's eve and she was 95. Just saw her that day and joked she'd be dancing by the evening, but she just slipped away surrounded by lovely carers (she called them her 'angels'). She always told me she loved me.
You obviously have a dark sense of humour like myself Andrea. It really is the best tactic for getting through these stressful episodes ; much silliness has got us through so much too as a family. I remember sitting in A&E for 6 hours with an inflamed gall bladder and ending up giggling uncontrollably at 3 in the morning whilst in dreadful pain, but seeing the absurdity of everything.
It's almost 3am now in fact. I'm waiting to hear from my son who's been at the hospital since finishing work as his girlfriend's mum has had a heart attack !
...........as I speak he just phoned to say she's stabilised and they're on the way home. (he starts work at 4am !)
I'm off to sleep now. 😫 Stay in touch m'love.......... xxx
Gosh Cat, so sorry to hear about your back problem. I hope your pain's being managed and your prognosis is good. Take care m'dear and enjoy the weekend as best you can.
Love, Mike x
Great news Mikey ; long may it continue.... xx
