Since my brain-event my feet are painful, and after a mile I'm hobbling. But I'll do my best. Where will your marathon take you Andy ; do you have a planned destination ? 😖 xx

Any distance will do, that's the whole point, your own marathon, 26 miles, 26 metres, it matters not! We'll be walking to a village that's exactly 13 miles from our home, then turning round and walking home, there are pubs and shops on the route (for facilities) and most importantly, it's on a bus route so anyone can give up and go home if they wish

I'm not sure about walking by myself adorned by a traffic cone (might have he wrong effect). Will you have a band of disciples meeting up at an appointed place & time ?

Myself and Sharon, the kids (some of the way) a friend from Leicestershire, one fellow TBI sufferer (an admin on my page) is flying over from Switzerland for it, there are a few other 'promises'...

Oh and Dame Kelly Holmes has promised to 'tweet' about the event....

Nah, nothing to fear I promise. I won't be worshipping the image or Kow-towing to it. It could serve as a source of mirth for visitors though.............whilst spreading a bit more awareness of brain injury. 😏 xx
