Finally passed

Hi all, after many battles with the DVLA about getting the group 2 on my licence (HGV) I did way back In May, I have just passed both parts of my theory test!!! 67%on the hazard perception and a massive 94% on the multiple choice, trust me when I say I am over the moon!!! It was a battle to get the DVLA to allow me to do this after loosing my car licence for 9 months, that was even a battle to get back!!! I am so happpppy as I failed the multiple choice the first time and I thought my TBI maybe affected me more than I had thought, NO it didn’t and against all the odds after just 2 years of coming out of a coma I did it!!!! And guess what??? I’m bloody happy about it!! Just the practical next but I’m confident, it just goes to show that anyone can do anything and the brain and mind is a wounderfull thing, 2 years ago my Mrs and Mum were told not to expect me to wake up!! Now look at me, I am sooooo grateful and I just know other people can have the same recovery I had, I really hope so!! I’m gonna do a 3 peak challenge next year for charity (headway) please let me know if would sponsor. It’s all for a good cause, this website is brilliant, I don’t like reading about other people’s pain but it’s things you can understand and relate too. The only thing left for me now is my compo claim against the people who are responsible for the steps I fell down that very nearly cost me my life!!!!!!!! But did also cost me a 50k year job, did anyone else find there temper change? Or loss of smell??

I know I’ve gone on a bit but just happy at the moment x x
