Just thinking

Being tired with a brain injury ISNT physically tired but mentally tired.

I remember in the assessment her asking if i felt better if i sat down.

Being tired with a brain injury is rather like being kept awake for 3 days.

Do you think then youd feel refreshed if you sat down?

I DONT THINK SO

My husband didn't understand just to what extent I was fatigued until we went to a conference by the encephalitis society where they spent a whole hour with talks on just what this fatigue means. After it he said that he knew now just what I was living with!

Indeed I was and still am physically fit and strong, so physical stuff is fine, it’s the cognitive stuff that I struggle with, loud pubs are far more exhausting than a long bike ride or swim etc.
