Is that general travel or a specific journey? Tell me when and where and I will cover it in prayer for you 😊

Blessings

Hi have you considered getting someone to travel with you? Will you be driving or using public transport? Is it one off travelling or something you'll be doing on a regular basis? I used to get chauffered to work door to door for about 16 months after my stroke then in Nov last year I started commuting by train and bus. It felt great to get that next level of independence back. :-)

My husband is coming with me. Just anxious about being out on the road in the middle of no where. Driving about thousand miles. Just scared of something happening.

Hi,

Tried replying twice whilst in Germany, but failed.

What does your consultant say ? I was "allowed" to fly within weeks. But didn't until 8months or so. Went to Portugal with friends (not entirely successful as I was still quite shouty/ emotionally all over the shop.

But since then (3yrs next week!), I've travelled extensively. India, south Africa, China, Russia etc

One of my driving forces is that I've been given a wake up call, not to waste too much time. Worrying doesn't make anything better. I wear a medical information wristband and that's as much as I can do to keep safe. (Oh, and decent travel insurance)I wouldn't want to spend the next x years at home worried about anything happening, only to reach 70 (let's say) and then be unable to.

Where are you hoping to go ?

I had a SAH back in 2015 and although I got my licence back after surrender I still get quite anxious about driving long distances. I have an irrational fear of falling asleep at the wheel.
