Head injury

I suffered a head injury with frontal-lobe damage in 1996. In a coma for 3 days.

Hi Aqua. Welcome to this forum. Hopefully you will find it helpful to read other people's posts and replies, and when you feel able I am sure it will be helpful to share more about how you sustained your frontal brain injury as well and how that has affected your life since. I have an acquired frontal brain injury/dysexecutive syndrome as a result of Bacterial Meningitis etc.

Hello. Yes I do find it very helpful reading stuff here- I'm just a bit slow with understanding websites so it takes me a while! Sorry to hear your story, how long ago did that happen?

Nice to see you here but sorry you had the need to find the site. 1996 wasn't a good year for me either.... i was in a long sleep too with my brain injury.

It's been a long haul hasnt it? How are you doing now?

Welcome aqua79 from another 'long-termer'! My tbi was in 1989 (when I was 25) and I was unconscious for three days too - but my injury area was the rear of the head. It is a long haul... Best wishes!
