I am truly so sorry to hear your story. What a horrific thing to happen. I am a mother of a three year old myself. I am currently dealing with my partner being in a minimally conscious state after a severe hypoxic brain injury. My grief and pain is so severe but to have this happen to your child I can still not even imagine what you are going through. I am sending you strength, resilience and hope xx

Hi

I am very sorry to hear this about your 3 year old son.

My youngest son aged 5 may also have brain damage after suffering brain injuries 3 months and a day ago today, but we will not know until he wakes up from the coma he is still in, after a freak accident at a swimming pool, where he slipped and fell head first onto the floor whilst walking out from the changing rooms into the swimming pool area.

Sending you my prayers of love and hugs to you and your son.

Andy

Thanks everyone for your support, concerns and encouragement. I really appreciate. He is improving and I thank God. He said a word for the first time in 3 months yesterday. I wasn't around when he spoke but the nurse looking after him said so,the nurse showed him two colours pink and blue and asked him to choose but he didn't ,so the nurse said to him you gonna have the pink one and he shouted "noooo" and the nurse was surprised. Hoping that God will see him through
