well done.
This is Mark we're talking about I believe. Great news Debbie. It was my neurosurgeon who cleared me to drive. He showed me my latest scan and the OH reports, and DVLA were informed.
It remember my massive sigh of relief at getting back into the driving seat.
Hope life will be a bit easier for you all from now on ! xx
Hi cat3, I don't think that a neurosurgeon is qualified to assess driving ability - even from a test drive! I would advise a session with an instructor - the cost of a lesson - to get a proper assessment and advice. This is really about risk, not merely procedure, as lives are at risk.
I was stopped from driving for a year and I remember the good emotions I felt when I started again.
Great stuff, it's a brilliant feeling
Hooray !! enjoy but don't overdo it too much ☺
I got my licence back a week ago and that then enabled me to return to work as a sales rep ,I felt so nervous the first time on the motorway but after a couple of long trips I'm fine ,it's amazing how much confidence you can lose in 6 months when you normally drive 35000 miles a year ,well done and take it one day at a time 😊
