Best possible way, my husband hates the word "special". We all are to some extent on here, but some take it further, you are one of those people, your willingness and ability to share and support, even educate is invaluable.

I have no idea. For the moment I'll continue making the films for my page and just hope somebody 'in the know' takes an interest. I'm spreading the net and hoping for a bite...

A couple of 'What-Ifs' here. What if you approached BBC radio 4 for a slot on the 'This Morning' programme to raise awareness of effects of brain injury and asked Headway for their backing in that approach ?? xx

I wouldn't know where to start, or who to approach. I keep hitting dead ends online and I'm fast running out of ideas. I've lost count of how many films I've made now and one in particular about my dating exploits is getting good comments about the humour in it, but I have no clue how to get it/them 'mainstream'...

BBC seems completely inaccessible to the likes of you & me (except for enquiries about existing programmes.

I suppose I was suggesting that you ask Headway whether they'd be interested in contacting the BBC to arrange a slot for brain injury awareness, and using your material.

I'm sure that, in any attempt to use media for awareness, the backing of a known organisation can open many more doors than an individual.

I'll talk to a couple of people who might know of 'ways in' & see where it leads.

But well done on what you've achieved so far kid ! xx

Thanks Honey! Much appreciated. I hate to be cheeky, but maybe, just maybe, a bit of a prod from people who have taken an interest in what I'm trying to do, rather than my good self buzzing around like an irritant might help. What do you think?
