Exactly! Things might never be how they used to be but the change may have needed to happen so that you can then take things a different way and maybe improve :).

A friend once said to me that they believe good things come from bad things and I completely agree with that.

If I never had a brain injury, I wouldn't be talking to you fantastic people right now :).

I wouldn't have joined my nearest Headway and met lovely people from there :).

My art might not be the same as it is now because if I never had a disability in the first place then I wouldn't have joined this other disabled group I use and I wouldn't have met a lady who brushed me up on my art, improved it :).

I might have been selling copyrighted drawings because I had no knowledge of the copyright law years ago and I could have been jailed.
