Brain injury. Age. Or both?

Fatigue, constant. More tired than a very, very tired thing

Memory rivaling a slightly forgetful goldfish

Headache, almost constant

It’s an event buying underwear

The doctor uses your Christian name

The Pharmacist smiles when you walk in

Contempt for Ant & Dec

Massive weight gain, the physique of helium balloon, only with more gas

Memory loss

A short fuse!!

Irritated by background noise, any noise, just noise

Relaxing becomes an art form

Spacial awareness? What’s that?

Getting dressed without falling over is celebrated

Not sleeping through the night without using the toilet

Not sleeping through the night without pains in the head waking you

Not sleeping through the night without a tremendous fart waking you

Not sleeping through the night

People whining about a sniffle annoy you

People abandoning manners and courtesy annoy you

99% of people annoy you

Yep, all of the above, especially the pharmacist bit !

But I'm on the other side of the coin just now Andy having managed to prune a 20ft Gleditsia tree down to 10 and dispose of all the waste in one afternoon yesterday.

It's spring, and my steroid shot has kicked in, and I'm fe~e~lin' gooooooooooooooood !! ;-)

Sorry mate, but I'm sure I'll be where you are sooner or later. Pecker up & all that.

...........................Oh and just finished reading 'War and Peace' ; only took three months. Busy, busy, Busy xxx :-/

Don't know why but that stinging remark just set me off laughing (with tears & everything) bringing my pal into the room to see what it was about.

You've a wonderful way with words Mr Nicholson !!

Hope life will show you some kindness very soon. ;-) xxx

Agree agree agree! I'm not doing well at all at the moment. Cervical spine pain is torture...bulging discs in two areas and degenerative bone disease, I'm in tears most of the time and to top it off i have a very bad sinus infection which is gripping my head, face and my ears are about to explode! Ent says the head pain probably isn't caused by the sinus which is worrying after having radiotherapy for the brain tumour, so I'm like a walking pharmacy just now and I hate taking meds but this pain is like nothing else, not even brain surgery was so painful! I'm sweating and exhausted after the simplest of tasks so I def know where you're coming from! I'm just like you all, trying my best to rise above it or I'll have a breakdown...beginning to think I must've been a witch in my past life to deserve all of this but then again there are starving beautiful children in the world and I've had 48 years of living in luxury in comparison! (although at times I find myself in tears trying to cope) and feel like going into the pharmacy and telling him to give me the whole lot...anything to rid me of the pain and to let me sleep so I can waken up a new healthy woman! Plus yes....bad mannered people do not help, nor does the weight gain (oh I've been told I may have coeliac disease...just to top it off) and folk complaining of an upset tummy!!! If that was the one worry we had, we would think we had died and gone to heaven! Wish you well and hope you waken up feeling different tomorrow...I'm away to steam my face and use yet another box of tissues....yes drippy agony nose and for tears! My oh my where's our medals??? ;) Take care! xx

Ah middle age where a young mans broad mind and narrow waist change places and the slow metamorphosis in Victor Meldrew begins - unbelievable!

:-)

BTW Anyone without contempt for Ant & Dec should post on this site more often

Again just popped in and with you on some of the above you have wrote.

You do make me laugh with your witty and truthful sayings, people think I'm bonkers when I tell them how I feel just by the look on their faces, hence why I don't bother really telling a lot of people!

The days when you think shall I go to the dr's because when your symptoms kick in that's it your decisions get all muddled in shall I or shan't I not knowing what to do for the best.

Don't get me started on rude people I have opened my mouth on many occasions and told them even though I don't know them!!!

The one's who complain about a sniffle or I'm dying(I'm saying in my head stfu and have been known to say it out loud when they go on and on) I have to walk away from some a lot of the time otherwise I'm superbitch by saying my opinion.

Not forgetting I work in a country where they are over dramatic and shout most of the time instead of talking so that drives me cuckoo sometimes.

Hey ho let's see what the day brings today!!!
