This is in my home town of Lincoln.

For the anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta, and as Lincoln is home of one of the original copies, the powers that be drew up a 'Baron's Trail' around the city. There is one 'Baron' to represent each of the original 25 Barons who forced King John to sign it in 1215.

I wasn't asked or considered. I was quite hurt

I love Stokes tea room in Lincoln - have only been a couple of times but I am crazy about tea, and they have so many!!

Hey Baron. I am a yellowbelly too - born and bred! My sons have loved all the barons -I think my favourite is the 1960s baron in St Paul's off Bailgate. He just looks such a cool dude. We havent done the trail yet but will have to get our act together before they are taken off somewhere. It would be cool if they stood them all at Runnymede, with the Queen!

Lincoln born and bred here too! Mostly North Hykeham, but just on the outskirts at the moment in the Baronial Palace. Lived in the city all my life barring two years in Ruskington and one in Germany
