On Friday, my sister, Julie, and I went up to Badminton Horse Trials we saw some of the dressage, and walked around the Cross Country Course, and all the stalls.
I always clock my walks with 'Mapmywalk', and we walked just over 10 miles altogether. At the time, I felt ok, but was quite tired on Saturday.
It was a lovely day though. Not too cold, or hot, so I stayed comfortable all through the day.

That's lovely news Nutkin. You clearly enjoyed the day and although you experienced increased tiredness the next day the walk and being outdoors has given you a sense of achievement. The exercise will have given you a good feeling too. I have just been swimming with my son which is my new goal to get some exercise and enjoy time together. We walk a lot but was becoming a couch potato with the symptoms of lethargy! x
Sounds lovely Debs. Anything horse-related is of interest to me. The only contact I've ever had is visiting the local stables to stroke the horses and feed them carrots, but now the gates are permanently locked so it's put a stop to my weekly visits after many years.
They are such majestic yet soulful creatures. So glad you enjoyed the day and the 10 miles covered is pretty impressive ! xx
Sounds like a great day, Nutkin. It's surprising how far we walk when on an enjoyable ramble with interesting distractions ! ( Lovely wonderful fascinating stalls, pet stuff, garden decorations, shiny things, anything loveheart shaped, I have sooo many weaknesses ! )
As for dressage - I find it captivating and could watch for hours : )
Hope you can enjoy more great days like this , Angela x
