I think most of us sigh with relief when it's all over. Not surprising when you look back at the effort of shopping endlessly for presents, wrapping, visits, kids, writing out cards, preparation of food & decorations etc., etc..............................

Then throw in a brain injury and..... well.... it's hard work !

(Not to mention traipsing up into the hills to take wedding photos ! )

All the very best Michelle for 2015. I'm still so very proud of you & what you have achieved. Take good care of yourself and your gorgeous kids !

Love Cat xx

That's a lovely pic! I agree with you when you say you're glad Christmas is over! I'll be glad to get back into a normal routine again! Xx

Yep, that feeling is reciprocated over here! Always pleased when Christmas is done and dusted. The collective sigh of relief is almost deafening, finally drowning out Hollie's excitement :)

All the best, everything is going to be fine

Hi Shellsbelle,

I used to feel so empty after boxing day. That's what christmas was like for me 15 years ago I guess. Times have changed though and I dont get so stressed about Christmas now. My Mum takes care of the dinner so that is one massive weight off my shoulders. I don't bother getting surprise presents for family in case they don't like what I get them, unless I see something that I know for sure they will like. I usually ask them what they want, it makes life so much easier. I normally put the awkward-to-wrap presents in bags. So I only had a few things to wrap.

And now, the few days after Christmas I am sitting here thinking "Have we actually had Christmas?". I didn't feel much for Christmas this year, it sort of seemed like nothing much happened. In a way, I suppose that is a good thing though.

Hope you have a good 2015 :).
