Hi Jo

I'm sorry I really don't know what to say to make you feel better

Does your consultant have a treatment plan sorted?

iv got another appointment in 12 weak to discuss treatment. and just answering my post makes me feel less lonely and better. thank you

What, did they just tell you that without having info and options to discuss with you? Hope they didn't just announce that and then leave you to fret? I can't imagine what hearing that is like and prospect of more (?) surgery/fiddling in your brain to fix it? Or is it tiny? watch and wait? Good luck.

no I was told that its small. and he has given me 12 weak to decide if I want surgery or if I want to just wait and for them to keep an eye on it. he said that at the appointment in 12 weak I will be given more info on both options. I was also told that my coils in the first aneurysm have compacted so I may need further surgery on that in the future. its not been a good day.

After having my aneurysm found last April I had mine coiled in June this year have my MRI today to check the coils. Your post is exactly what I'm dreading. Hope they sort you soon and don't make you wait too long to sort x

so glad i chose not to have coils as to many people need further surgery, my surgeon said he needed to clip one but will do other with coils i refused coils as the success rate is not as good as clipping, i had an 18mm one clipped on 20th may 2014 and a 10mm one clipped two weeks later, i went back 10 weeks later to see surgeon n was discharged...clipping to some people may seem worst but the success rate is 99.9% i didnt want to be under hospital for years with coils i wanted fixing properly first time round..and glad i did... hope you get yours sorted out, they do say where theres one anyeursm theres two or more x
