Has anyone tried this? Supposedly just smelling rosemary can improve ones memory.

Rosemary improves memory?
nice with lamb, just improved my memory I remember her at school nice girl, so it does work without a sniff.
Fascinating thanks for this - when I did aromatherapy training years ago the medical/scientific community was adamant that there was no way essential oils could help as they were not absorbed by the skin and smelling the essential oils couldn't help either so that any benefit from aromatherapy was purely psychological and a placebo effect. I was taught then that rosemary was very good to help focus the mind and aid concentration. Since then "they" have changed their mind and realised the skin is an accepted route for medication to be given. Many "old wives tale" are based on empirical experience that science disputes or takes a while to come up with an explanation So - "rosemary for remembrance" now has some evidence to support it. Definitely worth trying some rosemary essential oil - it is not an expensive one - make sure to check out how to dilute it or use in a vaporizer.
Yes Spartan, yummy with lamb (with garlic too) or roast potatoes and I have a lovely friend called Rosemary as well.
I don't know about Rosmary, but only for only a month before my hypoxia, I was doing an internship at Longwood Gardens. When I returned there, I remembered nothing about being there. That was, until I entered the Mediterranean Garden. Suddenly the strong scent of the orchid flowers, brought back memories of working there.
be interesting to know how rosemary was used in experiment. You can get rosemary essential oil from Amazon.
