Confused on results

Hi there. Posted my results but I'm confused as the results given, well I dont believe I have the symptoms to indicate high iron levels since I went to look for under active thyroid. Generally I find myself struggling to lose weight, I have very cold feet and find myself sensitive to cold, got dry skin, tight muscles, tired, anxiety/depression. I do eat well and go to the gym so tipping the scales at 12-12 and half stone at 25 is a bit :/ also I get easily out of breath like I can go up the home stairs fine but anything more and I'm panting.

Any suggestions?

Your ferritin level of 276 is not high enough to worry about. It would be at the high end of normal scale.

It's when it gets to over 1000 that doctors will start investigating further.

I can't comment on thyroids.

There is a very good Thyroid society on this site, which may help you better.

All the best.

Someone suggested to look at cortisol levels so guess that's my next route

These bloods do not suggest haemochromatosis and your thyroid is fine,

I am not sure what your concerns are as you have a number of symptoms which are non specific.

What is your ESR / Viscosity?

Ask your GP to go through all your results, that us their job!

My gp was crap. Had the locum. I actually had more tests done privately and I got really high cortisol levels. Now been referred to endocrinologist

Ok. I am sorry you had this gp experience and had to pay privately! Your regular GP should resolve. That's the GP responsibility.

Take it from me!
