Hi

I had some blood test yesterday which showed my MPV is slightly under at 6.9

I have Graves’ disease and was wondering if anyone else had this too, and if it was linked to graves, if so what does it mean ?

Any advice would be great

Having low (or high) MPV doesn’t mean anything on its own. It must be interpreted within the context of other full blood count results.

Hyperthyroidism can affect blood count values and doctor may view the abnormal but not significant especially is other results are ok and the result is slight.

I have above range platelets but doctors said not significant enough to worry.

Always include ranges with full results.
