Hi!

Can anyone help me please to find the post about the effects of covid vaccine to Grave's disease? Until now, I haven't decided yet whether I will gwt the vaccine or not. I am so afraid of what might happen.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately not.I had to start my 2nd lot of block and replace last October after only stopping my tablets for 2 weeks. My t4 went back up to 69.I am now stable on 40mg of carbimazole and 100mcg levothyroxine per day. I haven't been told how long they'll let me stay on this.

Thank you for your reply. It really helps with my decision regarding taking the vaccine. This is the 3rd time that I had graves. The first 2 was terrible, but this time it was different. I have very little symptom and can work full time, unlike before that I was on a sick leave for a year. This illness is not easy but it will get better. Just hang in there. Hope all will be well with you soon.

I should have worded it better. " Once you are compensated".... As is your case. My tsh got alive after 4 months on carbimazole. It's ok for tsh keep dormant for 6 months...Wishing you well
