Having eaten sweats containing wheat and gluten also being considered super sensitive nothing has happened, or is there something I do not know?
Why?: Having eaten sweats containing... - Gluten Free Guerr...
Why?
I think it iis important to realise that CD is not an allergy it is an autoimmune disease and gluten is its trigger so you may not have any noticeable symptoms but it will be doing damage nevertheless to your villi or another part of your body. That is why it is important not to eat any gluten. I am also super sensitive and cannot even tolerate the 20ppm but it maybe that the sweets had very little wheat or gluten in them.
I sould suspect there's very little in sweets and also they are heavily processed and contain so many additives that it's probably masked in some way.
I remember going to hospital a a teenager about the horrible migraines I used to get (generally weekly as a kid) - I remember discussing the triggers with the doctor, I was adamant that choc/cheese were not a problem or I'd be getting them even more frequently etc. BUT to this day I hate the taste and even the smell of pink Bubblegum - the doctor pretty much shook his head, he felt it was unlikey they would be able to pinpoint the one additive that caused me a problem but suggested it was more likely to be the combination that caused the problem. Considering nothing else has ever had the same effect on me, prompting a migraine so easily and quickly, I guess it's probably true.
I don't drink Red Bull either cos the smell of it reminds me of that feeling - it's like an open invitiation to feeling bad.
That's a migraine, like Mia points out, if you have CD then it is probably worth avoiding. I think once 'e' numbers getting involved, it all gets a bit messy!
According to a doctor I get allergic reactions to gluten found in shampoo, bath water, eggs, bacon, beans, hash brown and mushrooms. Also tea. So why nothing this time?
