Anyone else have a problem with Dieta... - Gluten Free Guerr...
Anyone else have a problem with Dietary specials multi grain brown sliced bread mostly dry and breaks up. Frustrating.
had same problem, also with Livwell.
Yes seems it happens with most brands but apparently Warburtons have been tweaking theirs a bit and the last one I bought was much better
I really dont know how anyone can think GF bread is lovely I ve tried so many different brands and never found any that is remotely like bread they are dry crumbly, full of holes but hey ho thats a small price to pay to stay off the toilet I guess - but I do wish someone would come up with something that is like real bread
I got one batch of 4 Dietary Specials loaves and all of them broke away when I removed the slices. So, I emailed them and told them what the issue is.
Even Genius bread can fall apart and be holey.
Agree with @remysmum - Warburtons and Waitrose is best so far - good taste and keeps shape.
Have not found a good sandwich bread and would love to have a bacon and egg sarnie
Always!! which is why I only ever get it if there is nothing else. Refreshing slices for 5 secs in microwave immediately before using helps but means you have slightly warm sarnies!
Warburtons products seem to be the best at the moment.
Juvela fresh bread is the best we have tried (I have 2 coeliac sons). Unfortunately only seems to be available on prescription and our health authority is saying no more "fresh" bread can be obtained on prescription. So quite what we are going to do I don't know. None of the "fresh" bread I have bought from supermarkets, including Warburtons or Genius, matches up...
I have glutafin fresh bread on prescription which I find is better but each to their own. I find warburtons gets too dry and falls apart.
agree about Warburtons.
I agree with dinger i get glutafin seeded loaf and fibre loaf also fresh bread all on priscription and all are fine.
My favourite bread is Sainsbury's own brand free from white or seeded. Needs to be refreshed in the toaster before use but tastes better than all the other breads I have tried and is also cheaper!!!!
Sainsbury's own brand FreeFrom is the best bread! I keep all my bread products in the salad box in the bottom of the fridge.
