Think yourself better ......

Sometimes, I think that I read too much but this little article made me do a double take. One woman plagued with migraines and another with dermatitis. I'll leave you to quickly peruse through the article. Perhaps it might be worth obtaining a copy of the actual book from the local library. There is an extremely long list of ailments that it lists as being able to help including coeliac.

The initial article was in the Mirror newspaper:

Here is The Resolution Magic site and the list of symptoms:

I read it through and WOW she certainly knows how to charge-- first payment£55.00 then a year of monthly payments of £49.00!!! ( it could turn out to be a costly mistake) if it was proven to work it would be worth while but until I hear A LOT of ordinary folk praising it I will see if I can access it in the library

That's why I suggested the library - it might help one or two of the little extra ailments that ride along with coeliac - and what no-one appears to ever discuss are the ordinary ailments that affect many people, including coeliacs but are more linked to perhaps getting older than having coeliac disease!

I like you feel that the actual courses are a little too rich - but a gentle browse through a book may be worth a read.

I agree that reading a free book can't hurt and sometimes in the midst of what feels like "jiggery-pokery" are in fact some pearls of wisdom, every body is different and therefore their diseases react differently,

I have read on various forums about people who have one disease and this is blamed for other illnesses when in fact -as you say- it may simply be their natural life progression

I thought I might try and get it, read it and perhaps if I am really impressed come back and say what my findings are.

No promises here - though - although, I can remember having a most terrible neck pain and decided to read a book on hand reflexology. This requires a person to press in different areas which can be effective at helping and even curing with pain in other areas. I found that to my surprise it actually worked on me. So since then I try and have an open mind regarding strange and curious ways of curing - as long as they appear to pose no danger!

With coeliac disease it often appears to be labelled as the cause for every other illness and pain that all of us feel. It is as though we should never experience any ordinary or general symptoms that are not related to coeliacs - this of course is just plain daft. Really, we should firstly perhaps ask ourselves is this just a plain, ordinary symptom of living our life .. if it isn't then we should look towards whether it is related to coeliacs. I am with you when you say that in forums and blogs and websites (I've added the latter two in myself) everything is or appears to be blamed on a person having coeliac disease.

I've just ordered the book and am going to give it a try too. I've had Reiki which did help but I think I would need to go back every week and it gets expensive. So something I can do myself would be great. Let us know how you get on.

I have had reflexology with a technician and she told me various things about my health which I had not divulged to her! and the treatments really helped, I also have had acupuncture which did not help--

I get migraine- the problem I have just discovered is that I broke 3 bones in my neck as a child and I have galloping arthritis now. I went to mainstream docs over and over about neck pain, then tried alternate treatments, I went back to my GP said "I have tried everything now,,now you need to step up and find out what is wrong" 1 set of x-rays later and I have a reason for the pain, NOW mentally I can fight the monster.

I have read a couple of posts here of people blaming CD for their migraine, my mum got them pre- menopause, others family members had other reasons for getting them, I think a lot of people are desperate for a reason for their symptoms but the scary part is that while they are blaming CD it may be something sinister/ or just bodies reacting to (as you say) life.
