A safe meal out!

After recent posts, I’m glad to report a good experience eating out this week!

I was in Wincanton over lunchtime, googled gf cafes and found Seed Cafe. After consulting the very helpful young woman at the counter I placed my gluten free, mushroom free (allergy) order and sat down with a decaf coffee. Thought lunch was taking a while, but quite happy so waited with my coffee. When she came back, she’d decided to give the kitchen an extra clean before preparing my food, just in case! Turned out she was confident about the gluten free - they advertised it, she’d trained for it, and all precautions were in place, which was good news, but as they had mushrooms in several other dishes she decided to go the extra mile as she didn’t want to poison me. I felt very cared for - and I’ve waited a couple of days to post this, just in case of a delayed reaction, and I’m absolutely fine 😊.

Good to know there are safe places out there - tho I’m afraid it was a veggie cafe, so wouldn’t suit the carnivores among you…

Sounds perfect. Also being a veggie - I wish I lived close by!

When some can do it so well, why do others do it so badly? That is a good recommendation.
