Really good news. National screening of all children for the condition would be even better. I can’t help but think that there are a lot of undiagnosed people out there who could be helped. I had anaemia as a child along with lots of allergies and asthma. A simple blood test could have helped me a lot earlier.

Absolutely MTC, they screen children in Italy and found a prevalence of 1.6%
