I have a metal muffin tin from the BC era (before Celiac). Is it okay to use if I scrub it really well and use parchment liners?

Can I use the old muffin tin from the Before Time
I thought thorough scrubbing would be ok for baking tins originally, but after I had 18 months of learning to be more and more careful to get my TTG readings down to normal, I decided it had been a bad idea, and I have bought new ones, apart from a silicon one that could be washed better than the metal ones. I no longer trust the corners in my old ones, and I have dumped them.I haven't used liners, as I have always avoided using anything disposable, but I imagine they would make a tin safe.
I’d say so. Unless there’s any obvious tiny gaps in the design that are hard to get into to clean, but then parchment liners should fix that agree.
I'd be inclined to ditch it. Others may differ. I've been glutened staying at peoples houses when using their pans. I scrubbed the pan before use, still got glutened. If it's not massively expensive to do so, I'd replace it. Repurpose the old one for planting or just put in recycling bin.
Hi Rhyothemis,Love the BC retort. I’d ditch and Benjamin’s suggestion is great for other purposes.
