Juvela fresh baked bread

Has anyone found that the slices of Juvela fresh baked fibre bread and fresh baked white bread are split and falling apart when you open the loaves? I found this with the Genius fresh loaves but in the last few months it’s happening with the Juvela ones too. I raised it with Juvela and they tell me they’ve not heard from anyone else that they’ve had the same problem. Surely it’s not just me?

I've found that all breads I've bought go through stages of breaking apart.Seems to me that even the slightest variation in recipe or maybe temperature causes these problems.

Very frustrating at times.

Can put people into space but can't make a consistent GF bread.

I find my juvela bread OK, can go a little dry sometimes, but popping them in mocrowave for 2 seconds, makes them fresh again, wouldn't change for another brand

I find the same with glutafin bread. The fibre is ok but the white and seeded splits.I Fing eating GF bread like eating cardboard! Awful but have no option.

I get Warburton f2f sourdough bread from Asda (not seen it anywhere else) and I think it is very good. Stays fresh and can make sarnies with it.

This is a classic case of gaslighting. It is very very common practice for food manufacturers, and businesses in general, to gaslight complainants that you are the only person who has ever raised this issue. You will not be the only person. I've never tried/bought Juvela, but a quick Google brings back interesting results, including their being cited on quality issues in a Brunel University research study. Switch to a new brand and don't let this one gaslight you.

Of course it's not just you! The manufacturers just can't do any better, so they don't admit it is a problem! Some seem a little better than others, but not much, in my opinion.I quite quickly decided not to bother with GF bread. I buy a very occasional pack of wraps, and make myself "bread" rolls based on ground almonds for when I need a sandwich. I try to avoid any manufactured GF food now, largely because I don't want to eat 20ppm in foods designed to eat a lot of, like bread, and partly because I just don't like them!
