feel sure research will come up with the answers..could it be overexposure or underexposure to certain foods we do or do not eat?i have never been a milk drinker or a chocolate addict..from a small child onwards..now i find i am lactose intolernt as well as glutin intolerent..i am finding my food preferences during my life were much more suited to my gut..as a young woman i cooked and ate what my family needed and prefered..now my diet is drasticaly altered and not through choice but because i have got so poorly ..it never entered my head that it was the food i was eating that i had become intolerent to..i have never liked refined foods and very much into organic farming anyway..i have never approved of chemicals and additives etc..so is it the way food is processed today ie preservatives etc antibiatics pumped into farm animals etc etc..the spraying of crops with countless pesticides etc?i suffer from ashma anyway and am allergic to insect bites and the anti tetnus jab as i found out to my cost..my sisters have allergies also as did my mother..i am blonde and blue eyed and suffered more than most..i think perhaps the answer lies in genetic therapy as well as more natural farm produce..i wonder what others think?? i find this exciting.
