My neice was told she has coeliac disease a few days ago. She's studying at university so away from home. She said to me il be asking you plenty of questions when eating stuff and asking questions about being able to this or that...I said yes of course il be here for you. Then thought to myself I've got my gluten free guerrillas friends to help me answer the questions I don't know 🤗

If your niece is able to download apps tell her to find ‘foodmaestro’ it Is invaluable when checking to see if food ok to eat. You can use it to scan barcodes when shopping.

Tell her she can't go wrong with whole foods like fish, meat, poultry fruit vegetables pulses nuts and seeds . You don't need gluten free products.

I love BBC Food website for recipes and it's my go to site when baking.

She will get her head round it all.

Has she seen a dietician? I think it's important in the beginning.v
