Tony - just in case others aren't clear...what do you mean by food for your coeliac diet? eg food that is naturally gf eg rice? or processed food that is specially aimed at coeliacs e.g. free of wheat, rye, barley, oats like GF bread (we won't get into the debate on 200ppm vs 20ppm vs low gluten etc).
The reason I'm asking is I don't buy many 'Coeliac' specific foods - just the occasional GF corn pasta and GF bread. .
I did not put any sensitivity level on there as I did not want it to refer to any particular group of coeliac's, I personally do not buy anything stating "Gluten Free" but others do, so a very open question.
a) as normal food for me - is GF i.e. veg/ meat/ fruit/rice/ nuts
OK - from my personal point of view I'd never run out of food for my Coeliac Diet as I eat lots of rice / veg/ meats/ etc and generally cook from scratch. I eat chocolate buttons when I get my sugar cravings.
I could easily do without GF pasta and GF bread (it never tastes quite the same as you remember does it?).So I try not to crave/ imitate it. I still need to embrace Quinoa, Buckwheat and more fruit (I prefer veg).
Hmmm, would have to be a) for me. Many things are GF naturally.
And as I tend to buy in bulk (much cheaper that way) I rarely run out of things to complete my GF diet, i.e. flours, pastas, crackers, or the capability to make my own.
And I love Quinoa, So much versatility there.
