Although the new recipe is a lot less calorific I can't make a sandwich out of it because it just falls apart in your hands. Has anyone else noticed this?

Finding reasonable gluten free bread isn't easy. There's been a lot of discussion on the subject.

Hi

The Warburtons Newburn Bakehouse is the best that I have found, unless you find a glorious restaurant that make WNB make fabulous "thins". I buy them periodically and they are great.

Schar started off really well. Soft bread, no huge holes or disconnected crusts. Not now. It's now quite hard and also falls apart.

Having tried all the GF breads available to buy I still find that prescription bread, ie Glutafin, which I use, (I believe Juvela is as good) is by far the best for sandwiches and toast, although it does need refreshing in the microwave for the best sandwich. The slices are also a good size, just a little thicker than I would like. Yes, the odd crust falls off but otherwise it's as yummy as GF bread is able to be.
