Does anybody have experience of gluten free eating in Malta please. I'm off there soon and any advice would be helpful even though I have my restaurants at the ready.

I am in Greece into my second week. It is really hard over here to get gluten free products so this time I brought out my own bread. Ciabattas for the breakfast in the morning. Wraps to have with the svoulaki and loaves to have as a club sandwich. They have all been fantastic with me and had no problem doing what I ask. I would say to you that if unsure take your own gluten free products from home. I carried mine as hand luggage and had no problem at the airport. This is the first time I have done this and it has helped so much.
Hi, I am gluten free and thought it would be hard but in the shops they have a small selection of foods and the silent city if I remember rightly and apologies if wrong has a café that serves gluten free. I hope this helps
I found Malta very difficult last year. My hotel was very good, the Intercontinental. but eating anywhere else was fraught. The local souvlaki shop were very helpful and fully understood, but practically no one else was very helpful at all. I'd definitely take some essentials with you.
I went to Malta twice last year and found it surprising easy, it seems to be listed on many of the restaurants menus and they understood what I was asking also. Valleta has a few cafes that offer gluten free bread, pasta, pizza. Although they do run out. Mdina has a wonderful cake/cafe/restaurant that over looks the island (best view in Malta) and it has a great gluten free section and knowledgable staff! Good luck, I really love Malta
