dealing with loss

We’ve just lost my sister who was 54 to Glioblastoma. She was a mum, daughter and sister and a wonderful, loving and rock to us all. Just 5 weeks! How do I and the family cope with this as I do not know where to start? Just thought I’d reach out.

Hi Yeashinabit100,

I'm very sorry about your loss, I lost my elder brother in 2010 due to a grade 4 GBM and know how hard it is. Can I suggest you go to the Brain Tumour Charity's website, which you should be able to use to seek support. They do provide an on-line counselling service, which you and your family may find useful.

Rather than dwelling on recent events, remember and recollect all the wonderful times you had and created together. As long as you still think about her, she will always be with you.

Wishing you all the very best.
