We’ve just lost my sister who was 54 to Glioblastoma. She was a mum, daughter and sister and a wonderful, loving and rock to us all. Just 5 weeks! How do I and the family cope with this as I do not know where to start? Just thought I’d reach out.

dealing with loss
Hi Yeashinabit100,
I'm very sorry about your loss, I lost my elder brother in 2010 due to a grade 4 GBM and know how hard it is. Can I suggest you go to the Brain Tumour Charity's website, which you should be able to use to seek support. They do provide an on-line counselling service, which you and your family may find useful.
Rather than dwelling on recent events, remember and recollect all the wonderful times you had and created together. As long as you still think about her, she will always be with you.
Wishing you all the very best.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your sister, it must be a very difficult time for you and your family. If you feel you want to talk, or would just like a listening ear, we are here for you. You can give us a call on 0808 800 0004. We are open Monday to Friday, 9-5.
If or when you feel ready, we do offer bereavement counselling, which you can find out more about here: thebraintumourcharity.org/l...
There is also the Bereaved by a Brain Tumour Facebook Group - you may find it helpful to reach out to them too for emotional support: facebook.com/groups/2196924...
Please know that you are not alone and there is support out there for you.
Warmest wishes, The Support Team.
