field vision after glaucoma surgery

During my three monthly check up after the glaucoma surgery , the surgeon said that there was a slight improvement in my field vision test. Is it right that glaucoma surgery improves field vision.

Glad to hear you are well on the road to recovery now after your trab. I had trabs many years ago and they are still working for me. Hope yours works for you for a long time too.

Re your question about FOV after a trab, according to Google, a small study found that fields may improve slightly after surgery. I don't believe that many folk experience an improvement but after all you'vebeen through, you deserve some luck.

Thankyou for your kind words. I’m hoping that things will be good now for my vision. The study I read said that this happens after but only for the short term and also people get used to the field vision test so that can play a part in it.The study also said that when it’s stopped from progerring it stabilises so you have a level where it will sit. 🤞
