I had a trabulectomy revision on my right eye after the first trabulectomy failed.
After the bleb revision I got diplopia, double vision, and the surgeon says they they can now alter the muscles controlling the eye and this may help the diplopia - a sort of strabismus or squint operation.
My right eye was always weaker than the right, I have Fuch's heterocyclic syndrome.
I would appreciate advice in two areas:
(1) is the right eye robust enough to cope with another operation? This would be the third.
(2) what are the chances if it did work that it will lessen the diplopia, currently the diplopia disappears if I turn my head to the right, if I turn my head to the lift the right eye vision 'detaches' and drops down causing double vision or diplopia.
Thanks for any advice!
