Dilating

My eyes where dilated and I have narrow angles 2.6 ? Pressures went up and next day went back see dr and same Pressures so put on eye drops. I went for iridotomy week later at private hospital. I have read that narrow angle eyes shouldn't be dilated. Anyone else had this happen. Awaiting check 7th July see if iridotomy worked. So upset my Pressures were 19 and 20 before dilated

Hi. Dilating pupils when you have narrow angles can be risky, due to how it can further narrow the angle. This is why those with narrow angles will need to be careful about taking certain medications like antidepressants and antihistamines. Glad to hear you have had the iridotomy as this can open the drainage angle again, so hopefully dilating the pupils in the future won't be as much of a problem now.
