INTERESTING .... Just read a newspaper article ..... quote "NHS Glaucoma patients to get first new treatment in 20 years to combat build-up of pressure in the eye called "ROCLANDA" (a combination of latanoprost and a drug called netarsudil). It says it is safer for patients suffering from heart problems, low blood pressure and asthma. Roclanda (available in October) will be offered to primary open angle glaucoma patients who cannot undergo surgery and have not responded to low-strength eye drops." unquote.
Has anyone been offered these new eye drops on the NHS ?

In summary, yes I was prescribed this in August. I'm in Scotland and it hasn't been approved yet here so I had to get prescription from my Ophthalmologist. Early signs were promising with a drop of 2mm pressure in first 6 weeks. I've just had pressure checked again this week and unfortunately my pressure is back up 2mm again (to 14mm). However, I'm on a 6 month trial so will keep fingers crossed it still settles to lower level.
