I had aqueous shunts over a year ago, my eyes always feel really tight. It’s hard to explain. I think my bleb is rubbing on my under eye lid slightly.
Anyway, ive got the thleoz drops from the GP as I use that many a month, they don’t seem to touch it. The only drops that I felt worked was the hycosan intense drops. They GP can’t find any similar to this that they can prescribe. It doesn’t let them prescribe the Hycosan.
Can anybody recommend anything similar to the intense ones used please? Xx

My consultant prescribed Hylo Forte and I get it on my repeat prescription. Not exactly the same, I don't think, but does also have 0.2% hyaluronate content so more viscous than some.
Have you tried an overnight ointment? I get Xailin Night on prescription as well. I tried Hycosan Night before that which my consultant said was also a good one.
Have you tried Thealoz Duo Gel at night ? It is easy to administer and has really helped me, so I need very few lubricating day drops following two Preserflo shunts about 3-4 years ago. Also there is an excellent consultant's webinar on the Glaucoma UK website , it was on "Dry Eyes" a few weeks ago , so probably now on You tube.
