Dry eye overnight ointment/gel

Hi

I've been using Xailin Night on prescription for a couple of years now. I like the gel - it's creamy and my eyes feel well lubricated in the morning but I find the tube awkward to use.

It's plastic, so can't be rolled up, unless I stick a tiny bulldog clip on the end. Sometimes the tubes seem to contain more air than gel. And the gel sometimes comes out in an annoying blob.

I used a gel once that came in a metal tube and the nozzle seemed narrow which made it easier to direct a thin line of gel in. I think it was Hycosan Night but when I look online, some of it is sold in blue/yellow boxes and some in blue/white boxes so I'm not sure. Or it might have been Hylo Night?

Can anyone recommend one that definitely comes in a metal tube? Thanks.

Hello, I'm sure one of members will be able to help you and recommend. Another option would be to speak to your pharmacist.

Thanks. Didn't think of asking the pharmacist.

Hi

Ah that's good to know, thank you.

I might try that and the Hycosan and compare them all.
