I have ocular hypertension which is under control but 5 weeks ago experienced some loss of vision. Eye Hospital A and E tentively suggester optic neuritis but the Consultant says ischemic optic neuropathy, ' a circulation problem', basically a mini stroke behind the eye. I am very keen to contact anyone who has experienced this as I am extremely anxious and feel isolated. I am awaiting an MRI scan
Thank you

I have ocular hypertension too, not feeling too good right now and under the C.O.G.S. scheme. I have my annual eyesight check up soon. I hope you get an answer from someone on here who has experienced a similar condition to you. Best wishes.
Thank you for your response. Yes, problems with eyes can be very distressing. I am very short sighted and as a result had a detached retina, lost some vision 30 years ago and have daily eye drops to keep the pressure down. My 6 monthly check in January was fine and then this strikes. I hope your check up will be fine.
